Shihades Innovation Center

This was a unique project that renovated a very old, multi-level elementary school into a cutting-edge facility that every high school student in Winchester City attends. During design, DES provided space planning, design layout and MEP Coordination to Winchester City Public Schools (WCPS) and VMDO Architects for these highly specialty, Career and Technical Education (CTE) spaces. Additionally, DES contracted direct with WCPS to relocate existing and provide new technical lab equipment. DES also provided the architectural millwork package to Howard Shockey & Sons which included custom built rift sawn white oak elements.
