SUMMARY:
DES worked with both Bowie-Gridley and D.C.P.S in developing a building trades academy consisting of HVAC, Carpentry and Electrical laboratories. DES provided vocational training equipment by Hampden Engineering as well as laboratory casework by Leonard Peterson & Company. Through our combined efforts, we were able to provide a turn-key program addressing the District’s needs for vocational training.
